So you've been for shisha, had a bit too much of the munchies and gone crazy on the Oreos and ended up texting the many girls you've met whilst you've been staying at university, hoping to get some "coffee".

And then boom! You've had another late night and missed another 9am lecture.

One of the things that I really wish I knew when I was at university was the need for routine. I realized this way, way later in my third year.

Amidst the lack of structure in your new life as a university student, with little inclination to go to lectures and nobody to check when you're back home, I strongly recommend having some sort of routine.

You can easily find yourself drowning in a sea of ambiguity and even worse, poor academic performance if you don't have a solid routine. At the same time, YOU ARE SO LUCKY TO BE A STUDENT. How I wish I was you again!

So cherish the moments you have - by not losing them to daily lie ins. Especially if you're a student in Leicester, there's SO much to do. Some of which we'll be covering in the following blog post. So look out!
