The first thing that comes to your mind is wow! From the crowns on the wall, to the high ceilings and the waterfall creating a space of privacy whilst maintaining a sense of openess, this place is grand!
Steak and Lounge bleeds of luxury. You almost feel embarrassed using the word tissue, rather than serviette. And you definitely feel embarrassed using your hands to dig into their succulent lamb chops. It's all about knives and forks here folks.

Or is it? Sure, the food is absolutely on point. Burgers, 10 out of 10. We highly recommend The Original. A very filling gourmet burger that comes with triple cooked chips which represent the perfect combination of crispy yet soft on the inside. And yes, the prawns are huge and just simply AMAZING. And yes, I love the succulent steaks.
But.
Take the stairs down, past the huge, grand shisha that looks like it's made of diamonds, teasing you on what's to come, and you enter almost a different world.
There's couches. There's music. There's the distinctive smell of apple and mint. There's guys taking selfies and having fun whilst pouring chocolate over Rebus domes. There's a guy sitting in his car, almost in the middle of the place smoking a shisha. Yup, this place is a shisha lounge, with a drive through! It's a man cave, and a spot for the ladies to chill, relax, put away the posh accent and fancy dress, and be yourself. To talk football over golf. To talk about what "she" wore at work today over Bank of England interest rates and the impact of Brexit.

This is a shisha lounge, with the Steak and Lounge touch. Yes, you get shisha. But you can get delicately designed pipes here in the shape of car engines. Personally, I highly recommend spending a bit more than the usual shisha and get what I call the Star Wars themed one. Whilst it looks fancy with built in lighting that you can control with a remote, the smoke is absolutely on point. It's smooth, and it just keeps going without the need for many coal or head changes.
And Rebus domes. Oh man, the domes! I highly recommend the Halo. A dome that slowly disintegrates as warm chocolate is poured over to reveal a fudge cake served with soft ice cream. Chocolate, cake, ice cream and Oreos all come together to bring your taste buds an orgasmic experience like no other.

See, here's the thing. We all know that a Halal night out means there things.
1. Food
2. Dessert
3. Shisha
So, why not have it all in one place?
The boys have done it! They've taken the Halal night out, and put it all into one place.
But don't be mistaken. Both my better half and I often find ourselves going straight into the lounge area for a mid week break and chill, sometimes in less than posh clothes. Because.. well.. you can! You CAN just kick back, and even have your burger served downstairs if you don't fancy a grand night out and the need to put on those Louboutins.
So what's the pricing like? You'd think pretty high? Well see, again you'll probably think you're high when you see the prices. Expect to pay something like £10-£15 for a starter to share and a main course with a drink. Shishas are the same as most other places in Leicester (£10), HOWEVER, I strongly recommend paying the extra £5 and upgrading to the Starbuzz Carbine. It's so worth it!
