Lemon Pepper has a great modern setting that does not fail to grab your attention. The bright yellow really does put the ‘lemon’ in Lemon Pepper, whilst the bright lighting and booths gives you a subtle hint on what to expect. It’s actually a very welcome change from the usual dim lighting that many other restaurants have.

The variety of dishes leaves you all so confused about what to select. Some of you may know but nachos are a must for me and whilst I tend to stay away from guacamole, Lemon Pepper’s nachos were ACE! A starter that was generous and tasty, can’t go wrong! We also couldn’t help but try the chops, we’ve seen too many pictures of their chops and just had to! You get four big chops covered in an AMAZING sauce, definitely will be having this again!

A lot of choice here at Lemon Pepper!

Moving on to the mains, Lemon Pepper give you the option to cook your own steak!?!? This concept is so clever but considering I don’t trust myself with steak and that by default means I certainly don’t trust my husband cooking my steak considering his culinary skills I wouldn’t say are the best (his specialty is cereal). We opted for a Lilongwe Sirloin steak (I know sounds super exotic right?!) with not one, not two but THREE sides rice, mash and vegetables topped with mushroom sauce. I must say the portion was gigantic! I absolutely LOVE that the steak was lathered in sauce as one of my biggest gripes with steak places is not having enough of it but there was plenty. The creamy mash melted and really went so well with the sizzling steak. The rice was cooked to perfection and again very generous on the portion size.

There are SEVEN types of burgers with really fun names that Lemon Pepper serve and so as you can imagine it was a real hard choice! So we opted for the ‘Celebrity’ chicken burger, without the jalapenos. I’ve found in my years of burger eating that grilled chicken burgers can be dry but the chicken was moist and packed with flavour and the chips came with a yummy cheese sauce (can’t get enough cheese!!). We also ordered a personal favourite mocktail, pina colada which had the perfect amount of sweetness and was really refreshing.

Whilst we didn’t opt for dessert, we certainly noted the in-house dessert parlor that’s nicely tucked away in a corner of the restaurant for those who want to indulge their guilty pleasures without being judged or be reminded about “calorie deficits”!

If you haven’t already tried Lemon Pepper, definitely give it a go! If you have been already, what’s your thoughts on Lemon Pepper??
